About David

Some personalia

David Dorward is a professional web developer, and has been since before graduating from University. Years of dabbling preceded his decision to make a career of programming and have given him well over a decade of experience in a variety of languages. Of them all, he gives the most kudos to Perl, as the language which makes it easiest to get the job done well (in no small part down to the Perl community).

He is an accessibility advocate, a strong believer in standards, a lover of open source, a contributer to the W3C Markup Validation service, dreams of a day when most users have a browser that fully supports CSS 2, and quite likes science-fiction when he can find the time to read it.
